Job type and term: Full time and permanent
Work schedule: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 16:30 PM - weekends when needed
Salary: 80,000.00/Year
Vacation / paid leave: 4% (2 weeks’ vacation), 3+1 personal days

Role and responsibilities
According to production needs, the Industrial Millwright performs a variety of tasks, as follows:
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, welders and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Schedule contractors and supervise contractors while on site
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
- Apply mechanical repair principles and procedures to make sure that machinery runs properly
- Detect defects and excessive wear in machinery and identify slight differences in dimensions and shapes of component parts
- Repair and overhaul electrical and mechanical systems on machinery and replace and align moving parts as required
- Set-up and adjust complex machinery for new patterns and products
- Analyze information to perform maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication of machinery, troubleshooting, and to test running and proper operation of machines
- Confer with management to recommend equipment changes and modifications and in evaluating new equipment.
- Maintain building – lighting, plumbing, signage, structure etc
- Complete Maintenance Reports, update and maintain maintenance records and other required documentation
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Required knowledge and experience
- Industrial Millwright Mechanic trade certification. Red seal an asset
- 5 years Millwright/Mechanical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have Welding experience
- Electrical Construction and Maintenance(309A) license or Industrial Electrician License (442A) an asset
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Valid Working at heights Certification
- Valid Scissor lift Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Hoist License
- Working in Confined space Certification
- Lockout Tag Out Certified
