Expozone is looking for an experienced spray booth painter that would like to work in the specialized field of museum exhibitions, cultural centres and commercial spaces.
Expozone is a full-service custom fabricator specializing in high quality museum exhibits, cultural centres, and branded interiors. The company currently employs over 36 full-time employees and more than 46,000 square feet of management, design, and fabrication space in Gatineau, Québec.
As a spray booth painter at Expozone you will be expected to take direction, be proficient working with hand tools and be knowledgeable in the different paints and their finishes.
Duties include:
- Organizing workflow,
- Preparing surfaces for paint such as cleaning, stripping, sanding and/or filling imperfections,
- Operating the spray gun, and other necessary tools to achieve the intended finishes,
- Inspecting and identifying imperfections requiring corrections,
- Touching up completed work to remove drips, chips or poorly covered areas as needed,
- Cleaning tools after use and maintaining them in good operating condition,
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and
- Maintaining safety standards as instructed, making proper use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining an inventory of protective items such as masks, gloves and goggles.
