WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies (45%)
• Work closely with directors to understand and determine the
organization's funding needs;
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan and related strategies;
• Develop, support and manage fund development and private
sector engagement events;
• Research and identify private sector grant opportunities that align with Katimavik's programmatic
priorities and geographic areas;
• Cultivate partnerships with the private sector in strategic locations of program
projects;
• Launch and manage individual donation and direct response campaigns.

Grant management (40%)
• Research and identify private sector grant opportunities that match the
Katimavik's programmatic priorities;
• Work with the CEO to cultivate, solicit and manage key donors, including
High net worth individuals, corporations and foundations in Canada;
• Write convincing grant proposals and funding applications, including

• Create an annual plan that includes major gifts, individual gifts, partnerships with

Collaborative responsibilities (15%)
